Profiles In Innovation
“Profiles In Innovation” is a new half-hour television series premiering this fall on CNBC on Saturday mornings at 11:30am. The program will profile companies and their leaders who have taken the initiative in improving our world. The CNBC viewing audience consists of a group of upscale consumers. They are more frequently upper levels of management and make or influence important business decisions on a daily basis. On an individual level it is an audience that consumes products from select categories at disproportionately higher levels than the general population. Some of these categories include fine wine and spirits, restaurant meals, theater tickets, financial services, books, high tech consumer products, hotels, rental cars and fine apparel to name a few. This audience has a much higher discretionary income than the average adult population, buys luxury cars, takes exotic vacations, owns second homes and is much more likely to play golf than the general population. Each program will profile a group of corporate and individual missions that have had or are currently having a major impact on improving our world.
